LifeStyles Condoms Wants Miley Cyrus To Talk About Sex

And just when I thought that the world could possibly go for at least a week without Miley Cyrus news, the troubled pre-teen is catapulted into the spotlight yet again—thanks to a condom company, at that!
It was reported that Lifestyles Condoms wants the Hannah Montana star to be their new spokesgirl.
“Pop culture proves that teens are more ready than ever to discuss the subject of sex,” says the company’s VP of marketing, Carol Carrozza. “We believe that Miley is both influential and relatable to this afflicted set — and is the obvious choice to get the message of safe sex out to teens across America.”
As hilariously entertaining as this latest Miley Cyrus “news” is, one can never forget about that slightly powerful and daunting company called Disney, which is always shielding their cash cow at every constant news flash. In this case, what are they going to do? Deny everything, of course.
“We never received an offer, nor would she consider the offer,” her rep stated, although judging by all of those photos, Miley seems like she would be the best gal for promoting sex!

Young Hollywood’s troubles continue as yet another one is arrested for DUI.
No stranger to poor decisions himself, Disney favorite Shia LaBeouf will have to put filming the Transformers sequel on hold, as he is being kept at Cedars Sinai Medical Center for an injured left hand, as well as being charged for a DUI.
Officials confirm that the accident occurred early Sunday morning in Hollywood. LaBeouf was making a left turn when his vehicle collided into another; his left hand will require surgery as the other two women involved suffered minor injuries.

What’s Wrong With Young Hollywood?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Movies, Music, Child Stars, Editorials
Miley Cyrus is showing off too much skin in pictures and making viral YouTube videos. Disney darling Vanessa Hudgens weathered scandal for sending pics to another young star. Lindsay Lohan fell so far from grace so fast we still can’t find her career, and let’s not even start talking about the deterioration of Britney Spears.
What’s wrong with young Hollywood?
Many of them appear on the scene as cute kids, all smiles and freckles and age-appropriate movie roles. But as the years pass and adolescence sets in, they’re suddenly seen in clubs, car crashes and mug shots - even before they can legally vote in some cases. When kids who aren’t famous get into trouble, it’s easy to say it’s the fault of the parents or that society puts too much pressure on them - maybe it’s some flaw in the educational system. When kids who are in the spotlight get into trouble, it’s media fodder.
And it’s almost guaranteed to make the spotlight shine on them just a little bit brighter.

Vanity Fair’s Young Hollywood Issue
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Movies, Television, Photos

Earlier this year, Vanity Fair devoted one of its issues to the ‘Fresh Faces of 2008.’ Now the magazine is focusing its attention on ‘Hollywood’s New Wave.’ What’s the difference? I have absolutely no idea.
In the August edition, readers will be able to find some of the younger generation’s brightest stars (e.g. the cast of Gossip Girl, the Jonas Brothers). They’ll also be introduced to others still making their mark.
Will all of the chosen be names still heard years from now? Probably not. But that’s what makes these issues quite interesting to me. I always find it fun trying to predict those who’ll have lasting power and those who’ll burn out quickly.
You can see some of those youthful stars after the jump. The rest of them can be found here.
